Like the Czernowitz Deutsche Tagespost and the Czernowitz Morgenblatt, the Czernowitzer Tagblatt was a newspaper for the German-speaking population of Chernivtsi and the surrounding area.

Chernivtsi is a city in western Ukraine, situated on the upper course of the River Prut.
