The main cemetery (Hauptfriedhof) in Weimar has three sections:

1. Historic cemetery (Historische friedhof)

Northside. Address: Karl-Haussknecht-Strasse, Posseckschen Garten, 99423 Weimar, Germany.

• Johann Wolfgang von Goethe (1749-1832)
• Johann Christoph Friedrich von Schiller (1759-1805)

2. Old cemetery (Alter friedhof)

Central. Address: Entrance Berkaer Strasse 4A, 99425 Weimar, Germany.

• Emma Marie Eleanor Rose-Mahler (1875-1933) (Section 6). Sister of Gustav Mahler. 
• Eduard Rose (1859-1943) (Section 6). Brother in law of Gustav Mahler.

3. New cemetery (Neuer Friedhof)

Southside.

• No direct relations with Gustav Mahler.
